Nová Ves is a municipality and village in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 800 inhabitants. Nová Ves lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south-east of České Budějovice and 130 km (81 mi) south of Prague. The village of Hůrka is an administrative part of Nová Ves.
