Chvalčov is a municipality and village in Kroměříž District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,600 inhabitants. Chvalčov lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north-east of Kroměříž, 18 km (11 mi) north of Zlín, and 249 km (155 mi) east of Prague. The first written mention of Chvalčov is from 1369.
