Hvozdec is a municipality and village in Beroun District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. Hvozdec is located about 22 kilometres (14 mi) southwest of Beroun and 50 kilometres (31 mi) southwest of Prague. The village of Mrtník is an administrative part of Hvozdec.
