Zborovice is a municipality and village in Kroměříž District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,400 inhabitants. The village of Medlov is an administrative part of Zborovice. Zborovice is located about 9 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Kroměříž and 27 km (17 mi) west of Zlín. It lies in the Litenčice Hills. The highest point is the hill Troják at 397 metres (1,302 ft) above sea level. The first written mention of Zborovice is from 1276, but settlement in the area extends far further into the past.
