Borovo (Serbian Cyrillic: Борово, Hungarian: Boró, German: Worow), also known as Borovo Selo (Serbian Cyrillic: Борово Село; to distinguish it from Borovo Naselje suburb which up until 1980 was also a part of the Borovo cadastral municipality), is a village and a municipality in Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. The settlement is situated on the Danube river on the state border with Serbia and the municipality of Bač on the other bank.
