Ostrovsky District (Russian: Остро́вский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,720 square kilometers (1,050 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a settlement of rural type) of Ostrovskoye.
