Pellevoisin is west of Châteauroux in the Catholic Archdiocese of Bourges.: 2 In 1876, a domestic servant, Estelle Faguette, reported receiving a series of fifteen apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and recovered from a serious illness, tuberculosis.
