Perry is a city in Jefferson County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 852. Perry had its start in the year 1865 by the building of the railroad through that territory. It was named for John D. Perry, the President of the Kansas Pacific Railroad. The first post office in Perry was established in October 1866. Perry is located at 39°4′32″N 95°23′31″W / 39.07556°N 95.39194°W / 39.07556; -95.39194 (39.075458, -95.391902).
