Plavy is a municipality and village in Jablonec nad Nisou District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,100 inhabitants. The village of Haratice is an administrative part of Plavy. Plavy is located about 10 km (6 mi) east of Jablonec nad Nisou. It lies mostly in the Giant Mountains Foothills, a small part of the municipal territory in the northwest extends into the Jizera Mountains. The highest point is at 580 m (1,900 ft) above sea level.
