Předklášteří is a municipality and village in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,400 inhabitants. The hamlet of Závist is an administrative part of Předklášteří. Předklášteří is located about 21 kilometres (13 mi) northwest of Brno. It is situated on the right bank of the Svratka River, at the confluence of the rivers Svratka and Loučka and the stream Besének. Předklášteří lies in the Křižanov Highlands.
