The total cost of the company was about $100 million. The company was ranked among SDM Magazine’s top 15 U.S. security system providers as of 2014. In 2012 Protect America expanded into Canada, and had about 400,000 customers. In 2013 the company had 390 employees, adding 67 jobs that year, the 13th most that year in the state of Texas according to Inc. Magazine.
