Račice (German: Ratschitz) is a municipality and village in Litoměřice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. It is the major rowing and flatwater canoeing venue in the Czech Republic. The name is derived from the personal name Radek, meaning "the village of Radek's people". It was originally written as Radčice. Račice is located about 17 kilometres (11 mi) southeast of Litoměřice, 31 km (19 mi) southeast of Ústí nad Labem and 39 km (24 mi) north of Prague.
