Rebstein is a municipality in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Rheintal in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Rebstein is first mentioned in 1270 as Rebistain. Rebstein has an area, as of 2006, of 4.3 km2 (1.7 sq mi). Of this area, 60.4% is used for agricultural purposes, while 7.9% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 30.6% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.2%) is non-productive (rivers or lakes). The municipality is located in the Rheintal Wahlkreis.
