Remetschwil is a municipality in the district of Baden in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. Remetschwil is first mentioned in 1184 as Reimiswilare. In 1854 the independent municipality was created when Rohrdorf split into Niederrohrdorf, Oberrohrdorf and Remetschwil. Remetschwil has an area, as of 2006, of 3.9 km2 (1.5 sq mi). Of this area, 59.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 24.2% is forested.
