Robin Greenfield (born August 28, 1986) is an American environmental activist and adventurer. He is known for raising awareness for sustainability issues, often through attention-grabbing tactics. Greenfield is also a writer, speaker, and ambassador to One Percent for the Planet. Greenfield was born and raised in Ashland, Wisconsin, where he was raised by a single mother, along with his three siblings. At the age of 18 he became an Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. After graduating from Ashland High School in northern Wisconsin, Greenfield attended the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
