Saint-Brais (Frainc-Comtou: Sïnt-Brais) is a municipality in the district of Franches-Montagnes in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. Saint-Brais is first mentioned in 1275 as Sem Bris. The municipality was formerly known by its German name St Brix, however, that name is no longer used. Saint-Brais has an area of 15.16 km2 (5.85 sq mi). Of this area, 7.54 km2 (2.91 mi2) or 49.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 6.82 km2 (2.63 mi2) or 45.0% is forested.
