Saint-Martin (Arpitan: Sent-Martin) is a municipality in the district of Veveyse in canton of Fribourg, in Switzerland. Saint-Martin is first mentioned in 1228 as Sanctus Martinus. Saint-Martin has an area of 9.78 km2 (3.78 sq mi). Of this area, 7.54 km2 (2.91 sq mi) or 77.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.58 km2 (0.61 sq mi) or 16.1% is forested.
