The Scottish Unionist Party (SUP) is a minor political party in Scotland. As a unionist party, it advocates keeping Scotland (along with England, Wales and Northern Ireland) in the United Kingdom. It is also anti-devolution, advocating the abolition of the Scottish Parliament. The SUP was formed in 1986 by a number of members of the Conservative Party disillusioned with Margaret Thatcher's Conservative government signing the Anglo-Irish Agreement.
