George Lincoln Barker (born August 24, 1951) is an American politician of the Democratic Party from the Commonwealth of Virginia. He currently serves in the Senate of Virginia, representing the 39th district, made up of parts of Fairfax and Prince William counties, plus part of the City of Alexandria. He was first elected in November 2007. Barker attended Harvard University, where he received an A.B. degree in Economics and Public Health and an M.S. degree in Health Policy and Management.
