Shelbyville is a home rule-class city in and the county seat of Shelby County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 17,282 at the 2020 census. Shelbyville is located at 38°12′44″N 85°13′33″W / 38.21222°N 85.22583°W / 38.21222; -85.22583 (38.212160, -85.225847), on U.S. 60 near the center of Shelby County and north of Interstate 64.
