South Hutchinson is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 2,521. It is a south suburb of Hutchinson. The city was founded in 1887 by Benjamin Blanchard of Terre Haute, Indiana. The first post office in South Hutchinson was established in August 1887. South Hutchinson is located at 38°1′38″N 97°56′23″W / 38.02722°N 97.93972°W / 38.02722; -97.93972 (38.027185, -97.939769).
