Stephen Robert Macht (born May 1, 1942) is an American television and film actor. Stephen Macht was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in Brooklyn Heights, New York. After being discovered by a talent scout, he left teaching and started making frequent appearances in TV shows and movies. Some notable roles include Yoni Netanyahu in Raid on Entebbe, Joe Cooper in Knots Landing, and David Keeler in Cagney & Lacey. He also directed episodes and appeared in various feature films such as The Choirboys and The Monster Squad. Macht has been married to Suzanne Victoria Pulier since 1964, with whom he has four children, including actor Gabriel Macht.
