It has won the Top Chess Engine Championship 14 times and the Chess.com Computer Chess Championship 19 times. Stockfish is developed by Tord Romstad, Marco Costalba, Joona Kiiski, Gary Linscott, Stéphane Nicolet, Stefan Geschwentner, and Joost VandeVondele, with many contributions from a community of open-source developers.
