Tisá (German: Tyssa) is a municipality and village in Ústí nad Labem District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants. The name is derived from the Proto-Slavic word tes and the Czech word tis, meaning "yew". Tisá lies about 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Ústí nad Labem and 80 km (50 mi) north of Prague. It lies on the border with Germany. Tisá is mostly located in the western tip of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the eponymous protected landscape area.
