The total area of the town was 103.06 square kilometres (39.79 sq mi). Taki is an inland municipality located in eastern Kii Peninsula in central Mie Prefecture. Taki has a Humid subtropical climate (Köppen Cfa) characterized by warm summers and cool winters with light to no snowfall. The average annual temperature in Taki is 14.9 °C.
