The Supreme Electoral Court (Spanish: Tribunal Supremo Electoral, TSE) is the highest electoral authority in the country of El Salvador. Article 208 of the Constitution of El Salvador establishes that "there will be a Supreme Electoral Court which will be formed of five Judges, who will remain on the Court for five years and will be chosen by the Legislative Assembly" and that "three of the Judges will each come from one of the three political parties or coalitions who obtained the greatest number of votes in the last presidential election."
