Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani (Italian pronunciation: ; born 11 May 1932), known mononymously as Valentino, is an Italian fashion designer, the founder of the Valentino brand and company. His main lines include Valentino, Valentino Garavani, Valentino Roma, and R.E.D. Valentino. In 2006 Valentino appeared in a cameo role, as himself, in the hit movie The Devil Wears Prada. Valentino: The Last Emperor a feature-length documentary film on the designer, premiered at the 2008 Venice International Film Festival.
