VELD Music Festival (commonly referred to as VELD) is the largest annual electronic dance music festival in Canada, held at Downsview Park in Toronto, Ontario. The festival offers 3 stages, with a mix of Hip Hop artists in the lineup. Since its inception in 2012, the festival attracts crowds numbering in the tens of thousands and notable acts including Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Steve Aoki, Zedd, Illenium, Tiesto, etc. The music festival offers 3 uniquely designed concert stages. The main-stage is at the core of VELD’s attraction to EDM lovers alike. In 2022, the main-stage was composed of more LED screens than in any previous years, allowing for outstanding visuals for each artist. At the centre of the stage above the crowd suspended, is the highlight VELD logo represented by a ‘triangular V’ made out of LED screens. The second stage, (formally known as the Remy Martin Stage), was an incredible upgrade from 2019! Offering more screens, more lights, larger speakers, and high production value. Finally, the third stage, known as the ‘Sirkus Stage’ is a VELD exclusive and a favourite for fans! This stage hosts mostly house music such as bass house, and tech house.
