Verdun-sur-le-Doubs (French pronunciation: , literally Verdun on the Doubs) is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. It is in the south-centre of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté at the confluence of the Doubs and the Saône in the Bresse plain, near Beaune and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-east of Chalon-sur-Saône.
