Verscio is a former municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. The municipalities of Cavigliano, Tegna and Verscio merged on 14 April 2013 into the new municipality of Terre di Pedemonte. Before the merger, Verscio had a total area of 3.1 km2 (1.2 sq mi). Of this area, 0.47 km2 (0.18 sq mi) or 15.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.96 km2 (0.76 sq mi) or 65.3% is forested.
