Věžná is a municipality and village in Pelhřimov District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants. The village of Brná is an administrative part of Věžná. The name is derived from the Czech word věž ("tower"). The village was probably founded near some tower. Věžná is located about 17 kilometres (11 mi) west of Pelhřimov and 42 km (26 mi) west of Jihlava. It lies in the Křemešník Highlands. The highest point is a contour line at 636 m (2,087 ft) above sea level. The first written mention of Věžná is from 1318. Brná was first mentioned in 1542.
