Bray-sur-Somme (French pronunciation: , literally Bray on Somme) is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France. It is twinned with Inkberrow. The communes is situated on the D1 and D329 road junction, some 20 miles (32 km) east-northeast of Amiens. The commune is surrounded by hills to the east and to the west. To the south, the marshes are crossed by the Somme. The town has been a strategic location over the centuries thanks to the four fords crossing the river here, the old boundary between Artois and Picardy. More information...
