Vladimir Cruz Marrero (born 26 July 1965) is a Cuban actor, screenwriter, playwright, film and theatre director. He is perhaps best known for his role in the film Strawberry and Chocolate (1994). Cruz made his acting debut on the stage as an amateur actor in 1981. He then began to study at the Instituto Superior de Arte in 1983 and graduated in 1988 with a licentiate degree in performing arts.
