Wünnewil-Flamatt is a municipality in the district of Sense in the canton of Fribourg in the western part of Switzerland. It is one of the municipalities with a large majority of German speakers in the mostly French speaking Canton of Fribourg. Wünnewil-Flamatt has an area of 13.27 km2 (5.12 sq mi). Of this area, 8.34 km2 (3.22 sq mi) or 63.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 2.24 km2 (0.86 sq mi) or 16.9% is forested.
