The West Vancouver Police Department (WVPD) is the municipal police force for the district of West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The West Vancouver Police respond to calls for service using one of four patrol platoons. Each patrol platoon is staffed by several constables, a corporal (road supervisor), and with oversight from a duty sergeant. In addition, a police canine handler and their police dog complement each patrol platoon. The patrol division is augmented by several support sections including; traffic; community policing / school liaisons; information services sections, and a victims' services unit operated by volunteers.
