The Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (ZUEL; Chinese: 中南财经政法大学; lit. 'Central-Southern University of Finance, Economics, Political Science and Law') is a public university in Wuhan, China. The university is funded by the Ministry of Education. ZUEL was established in 2000 with the merge of Central South University of Finance and Economics (Chinese: 中南财经大学) and Central South Institute of Law (Chinese: 中南政法学院). Its root could be traced to 1948 when Zhongyuan University (Chinese: 中原大学; lit. 'University of Central China') was founded in the Province of Henan and later moved to Wuhan. More information...
