Shimsk (Russian: Шимск, IPA: ) is an urban locality (a work settlement) and the administrative center of Shimsky District of Novgorod Oblast, Russia. Municipally, it is incorporated as Shimskoye Urban Settlement, the only urban settlement in the district. It is located on a highway connecting Veliky Novgorod and Pskov, 48 kilometers (30 mi) southwest of Veliky Novgorod.
