  • „Schwarz’s method of researching Dao in the context of ancient Chinese language, philosophy and religion is relatively rare in the German‑speaking world. This interpretive method attempts to use the mode of “interpreting Chinese classics in a Chinese way” to allow German readers to more intuitively understand Dao, which is the core concept and most important piece of Chinese cultural imagery in the Daodejing. It also provides new perspectives and possibilities for exploring other meanings of Dao, which can promote the mutual acknowledgment, mutual understanding and complementary interaction of Chinese and German cultures.“ Xue Tang: Variated Cultural Imagery of the Daodejing in the German‑Speaking World Based on “Foreignization”: The Case of Dao and De. – In: Religions 14 (2023): 918, S. 6–7, https://doi.org/10.3390/rel14070918.

Barbara Barnouin & Yu Changgen Zhou Enlai: A Political Life. Chinese University Press, Hong Kong 2006.
