  • Dabei ist die Form, hebräisch יהוה JHWH, grammatikalisch ungewöhnlich, denn es ist keine reguläre Form des Verbs hajah (‚sein‘), sondern eine Mischform oder ein Verbalabstraktum, das sich nicht eindeutig in die bekannten Zeitformen einordnen lässt. Die klassischen jüdischen Ausleger (z. B. Raschi) und auch spätere Mystiker (z. B. Kabbala, Chassidismus) sahen in JHWH eine Kombination von: hebräisch היה hajah, deutsch ‚er war‘, hebräisch הוה howeh, deutsch ‚er ist‘, hebräisch יהיה jihjeh, deutsch ‚er wird sein‘; gemäß Schemot bzw. Exodus Ex 3,13–15 EU
