Lightcurve plots of (5144) Achates from Jan 2015 and Jan 2018 by Robert Stephens at the Center for Solar System Studies (U81). Quality code is 3/3 (lightcurve rating at CS3). Summary figures at the LCDB and CS3.
A query on the JPL SBDB from June 2018 shows that the orbit of Achates is the most eccentric one of all Jupiter trojans (TJN) with an absolute magnitude brighter than 11 (H < 11), which translates into a diameter of larger than 40 km for an albedo of 0.043.
