Until recently it was Pakistani filmmakers who were plagiarising Indian hits but as videos of Pakistani films began creeping into India, producers from Bombay and Madras too jumped on the bandwagon and made copies of Maula Jatt as Jinney Na Doon Ga and Aina as Pyar Jhukta Nahi, ironically the latter was a hotch potch of three Indian films.
