Two women accused of poisoning the estranged half brother of North Korea's leader arrived at court Wednesday for closing arguments in a murder trial that could send the women to the gallows.
The vials contained atropine, an antidote for poisons such as VX and insecticides, toxicologist Dr K. Sharmilah told the court on Wednesday, according to state news agency Bernama.
The trial resumed after a break with the testimony of Dr Ranjini Sivaganabalan, a clinical toxicologist at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang.
