Axon also revealed how much it paid to acquire Seattle-based VieVu, which provides body-worn cameras and video technology to the police, from Safariland Group. Axon bought VieVu May 4, ending dueling lawsuits within Maricopa County Superior Court. Axon paid $4.6 million in cash and $2.5 million in common stock issued to Safariland. The deal also includes consideration of up to 141,000 shares of common stock contingent that Axon achieves certain milestones over the next two years. There is also a minimum holster purchase requirement from Safariland.
