In a statement via the New York Post, Bratt said: "After four years I've felt like it was time to get back home to my family. Benjamin Bratt is leaving the show at the end of the season to be replaced by Jesse L. Martin, who plays Calista Flockhart's doctor- boyfriend on Ally McBeal, producer Dick Wolf said.
