Alegi & August 2006, p.23 cites 12 February 1921 as the date of the Transaereo's maiden flight, but at p. 24 the same source considers the pause between this flight and the next inexplicable. Instead the Gianni Caproni Museum of Aeronautics, in the text of an explanatory panel,[8] cites 2 March 1921 as the date of the maiden flight. Alegi, Gregory (August 2006).
