This information had been removed by the time of the 1848 edition of the same dictionary <http://www.british-history.ac.uk/topographical-dict/england/pp8-15#h3-0004>. In addition, the List of monastic houses in Derbyshire contains no reference to an abbey here. The most likely explanation is confusion between Darley and either Darley Abbey or Dale Abbey.
