"Get Up, Action" is a sound-alike of "Passion" by The Flirts. It has the same tunes but is not identical. Must be frank, it's in a Dutch music television show, but I never knew about it. Three Dutch sisters called The Internationals did the female parts, while one of the producers of "Adams & Fleisner", Cees Bergman, did the male part. I met everyone in the recording studio back then, but we didn't stay in touch. It was normal back than to playback. I was the only who could sing and dance, but they decided that we kept it to the dancing as a performing act, because that sold. Our show in discotheques was like 30 minutes. Like 6 tracks, most of the time there were several acts. The music video for "Get Up, Action" was shot in a discotheque in Holland, while the one for "Go Go Yellow Screen" was shot in Barcelona. We performed a lot in Dutch discotheques but never in Top Pop or Dutch music programs. We performed in the DDR a lot for the German military and on American military bases in Germany. We went a few times to East Berlin. I know Digital Emotion was quite popular in the East Block countries back then. I never performed in Russia, apart from the DDR, also in Sofia Bulgaria. The first cast in Digital Emotion was with Myrna Balrak and Steven Koswal, the second was with Marlinda van der Hoff and Steve de Goede, and the third cast was with Jean François Columbo. I'm not in touch with Myrna. I met Steven a few years ago but can't find him on social media anymore. Marlinda was one of my best friends but unfortunately died of cancer in 2021. I met Steve a few times at a party. I'm from origin a dance teacher and still teach, but my regular job is being a secretary. My youngest daughter Maya Mae (Spotify, YouTube) is an upcoming singer and songwriter. My eldest daughter Amber works in a care home for the elderly. After Digital Emotion I sang for 10 years in a family band with my brothers.
