The first premises comprised a converted chapel in Arthur Street, where a very small workforce produced emergency generating sets for the booming post World War II reconstruction industry. Later, as the company prospered, producing jet aircraft engine starting equipment, the premises were moved to Greets Green, West Bromwich, adjacent to the Jensen Motors plant.
Directors at that time included Tommy's brother John (Company Secretary) and Ted "Ken" Jones (Engineering Director). Tragically, Tommy and his wife died when their Lear jet crashed in France.
