Taking into account a rare African D0 lineage and the timeframe summarized above, we have argued (Haber et al. 2019) that the initial splits within CT are likely to have occurred in Africa before the exit, and that three lineages, C, D, and FT, were carried out by the ancestors of present-day non-Africans.
