This is the 17th-century account of the Vatican librarian Bernardino Paulino, who organised the translation of Magnus's skull from Santi Michele e Magno to St. Peter's Basilica in 1602. Albertus Poncelet, Catalogus codicum hagiographicorum latinorum bibliothecarum romanarum praeter quam Vaticanae, Brussels 1909, p. 46-47 (= BHL 5168a). The manuscript is largely identical to an edit from the Theatine Fathers in Naples, which likely originated from Fondi (= BHL 5172).
